  • Idk how many calories I have a day. I may eat half a muffin in the morning then half of my dinner, or just skip breakfast and have some lunch at school then skip dinner.

  • Thanks so much Elle! I Have the very same frustration. I’ve been eating 1100-1200 cal a day and working out every second day with no results. I am beyond frustrated.. I’m 5’4, 170 lbs and I would really like to lose 15 lbs at least.. I’m wondering if my anti depressant is to blame but my doc says it’s not likely.
I will give your tips a try.. I am wondering tho, in beyond expectations that you worked out everyday?

  • there goes that starvation mode again lol. I need 3000 calories/day to maintain so 2500 to lose weight, yet I use an 800 calorie diet + HIIT. that’s a 2200 calorie deficit/ day…how many more calories do I need to cut to hit this “starvation mode”??

  • First of all, I have to say that you look extra gorgeous here, Elle!! Beautiful tan you’ve got there!! I tan ‘gold’ as well, and am soooo looking forward for the sun to once again come out here in Portland, Oregon!! UHG. lol
Secondly, Marian..(Maryanne??) asked the EXACT same question I could have asked you!!! I have been training since early Nov trying to lose some weight and firm up for a friends’ BIG Wedding at Disney World on Mar 10, so I ONLY have about 45 more days left to try to get into my cute size 10-12 clothes, but I have not lost ONE POUND. ONLY LOST ONE INCH OFF HIPS is all I can see.. I guess I’m freaking my body out, as Marian is apparently also doing.. I’m also 62 now, but trained hard for about 3 yrs and looked the best EVER in my life in my early 30’s. But then…Yep..I pulled my left lat/flank area and wound up in terrible pain and physical therapy for the next 4 years. Oh goodness. That was not fun.:(
So now with only about 6 weeks left, I recently started 5-6 times a week workouts for at least 2 hours. I NOW feel some muscles firming up, but I STILL can’t get those jeans up over my butt and hips!!!! GRRRR I will do as you have suggested here and hope it helps get some better results by NOT starving myself. But I do NOT want to go to this wedding fat and wearing baggy clothes!!! I want to wear my cute stuff!!!!
Thank you so much for your expert opinion. I will do as you say and hope for some positive results. <3
    Take good care.

  • I had to sub, so glad I found your channel, cause I got 3 kid’s an I have let myself go I so need help here I’m on the struggle bus so I’m gonna watch every video so I can learn what I need to do. Thank you

  • Hi Elle, I loved watching your documentary and found it so inspiring! I’ve been running and cycling for about 20 mins every other day and have been eating meat and vegetables but not rice or pasta or anything. I haven’t been counting calories, but maybe I should? I haven’t lost any weight and feel so disheartened. Would you be able to explain why this is? Also do you eat meat and carbs? Xx

  • Hi Elle. I really enjoy your videos and they have helped me view fat loss differently. I had my 2nd baby 9 months ago and have really burnt myself out looking after 2 children, doing night feeds and pushing my body through intense workouts sometimes more than 5 times a week to try get my body back. I use to eat 2 large meals a day and even though I lost 1st 6lbs I plateaued on that last 14lbs and been quite down about how my body really isn’t were I wanted it to be. I have really educated myself on all your videos and have started eating 6 times a day and reduced my training. It was hard at first as my mindset has been on train train train and must burn calories!!! However I feel less stress on my body now and I am hoping given time I can boost my metabolism and like you say make my body work for me rather than the other way round. My question for you is I am 2 weeks into this change and want to stick with it and see it through. I understand every women is different but how long on average does it take to get your body responding to this to see results? Thank you for your help. Your a true inspiration to all the mummy’s out there xxx

  • Thank you so much for your videos. I have had a tendency to eat too little and over excercise in the past as well, and I know I’ve slowed my metabolism because of it. I too am 5’2″ and slow metabolism also runs in my family. Knowing it can be fixed is so encouraging! Question: Do you tan or do you use sunless Tanner? If sunless tanner, what brand? Thanks so much!

  • Great sound advice! I love that you are not suggesting extreme diets and fads. I hope everything is well with your husband.

  • You inspire me so much you look fantastic. By the way how is your husband? I remember he had some health issues, hope you and your family are doing terrifoc

  • i don’t understand if someone who is active eats proper vitamins and nutrients and is on a 1000 calorie diet is bad for you…

  • i eat 1200 calories lol its all about where you calories come from i eat so much but th foods are low calories and i only get my calories from food

  • How many hours do you exrsaes a day please answer me? You are so inspiring ❤️ me to lose may weight I’m a mother and my silfe stems is down

  • This is such a lie. The average person should eat half a plate of veggies, one quarter plate of meat and one quarter plate of grain if any grain at all. I can do all that, and remain full all day at only 700 calories. It’s not about how much you eat, but how good the food is for you.

  • Loved the video! You don’t need to wear makeup…you are so gorgeous and you are correct that Starbucks coffee is nasty. Thank you for the video, it really is helpful.

  • We have the same weigh scale Wally World for 20 bucks…..and if I were there you would’ve gotten that large fry

  • I lost 8kg in a month by eating 1000 calories a day, and it definitely changed my life. I no longer get hungry, I get full SUPER EASY and my body feels light. This is actually very easy you just have to find the right foods!!! If you’re skeptical I say go for it!! I even found it more sustainable and easier than a low carb diet!!

  • M following your all diet plan just wanted to know does chia seeds help us to loose weight please reply soon…

  • Im doing this during isolation. After a couple of days i find hunger not to really be a problem but i am noticeably tired and sometimes a little light headed. I dont do as much cardio as you but have a bigger starting weight so probably slightly bigger calorie deficit. Great for short term results. Congratulations, it takes a lot of dedication.

  • Wow you should be so proud of yourself! I just posted a cheeky video but true: Why French women don’t get fat check it out and please let me know what you think. Take care x

  • Im wanting to do a 1000 calorie diet with a long endurance, low intensity cardio to lose size. Im wanting a feminine body but to achieve that, since im a guy, I have a lot of muscle to lose. I just need motivation to fight through the hunger pains to keep going.

  • If you want to slim down, you need to check out Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine. They will help you get the shape you should have.

  • I read many great opinions on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can help you lost crazy amounts of fat. Has anyone tried using this popular lose weight method?

  • Listen, guys…

Have you ever considered that there are people who eat healthy, but need to eat less to lose weight? I WANT ANSWERS.

  • Yes, I too am guilty of jumping from diet plan to others as well, I do believe that I must have tried every weight-loss program that was available, however in the end not one of them made it easier for me to lose and keep the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time using the Custokebon Secrets simply because my cooworker who told me extraordinary things about it and so far to date I have effectively dropped 16 lbs in 3 weeks!

  • Im doing Slimming World in the UK and eating around 1000 cals a day and I’ve lost 54 pounds in 6 Weeks

  • Is Custokebon Secrets helpful to lost a lot of fat? I have learn many good stuff about this popular lose weight diet plan.

  • I used to eat 300 calories a day and I loved the way I looked… Im going for 100 calories a day rn cuz i want to lose more weight…

  • Wow So much crap going around about the so called “starvation mode”. I did a diet consisting of 1000 calories 4 days a week and I ended up losing weight. And my metabolism is perfectly fine

  • Does Fenoboci Diet Plan (google it) help me lost lots of fat? I notice many people keep on talking about this popular fat burn method.

  • Terribly scientifically incorrect advice. Starvation mode only kicks in when women reach 10% body fat and men 5%. Your metabolism actually INCREASES when you reduce your calorie intake.

  • I wasn’t losing weight on 1200-1300 calories a day even on low carb. I was staying around 200lbs after losing over 15! So I switched to keto on most days, intermittent fasting and more like 1000-1100 calories… I’m down to 194.(I cut out lunch for a small snack) and as someone who used to wright 145lbs, I am not starving. True, my yoyo dieting and age has messed up my metabolism. But I plan to reintroduce calories and foods slowly while excersizing.

  • I am a 5ft woman in my 20s, 115lb. My basal metabolic rate is extremely low anyway. If I eat anymore than 1500kcal a day, I will gain weight, and I have before on this amount, because I am for all intents and purposes a child in stature (w small exception of post-puberty hormones etc). So 1200 is what I physically have to eat to make lose even one lb a month. It’s easy to speak about not eating under 1000kcal, but this is talking about the standard person. Some people aren’t standard!

  • Breakfast, oatmeal porridge:

    4tbsp quick oats

Garnish with some slivered almonds. (Optional)
1 cup of green tea or matcha.

1 tsp of Chilli flakes (substitutes fresh red or green chilli)
    Juice of one lemon

    1 bowl of watermelon or

100g of any variety of berries or
    1 kiwi fruit

    Dinner:
Repeat the lunch menu of shrimp salad and tea.

In between lunch and dinner you can have red or green cabbage or cucumbers only.

    Hope this helped .

  • your body does not go into starvation mode unless don’t have much body fat. But a person with a lot of weight to lose will tap into their stored fat and burn that instead of calories from food.

  • I eat 1500 calories a day and ride my bike for 10 minutes every day. Im just gonna say that this might be a better diet than under 1000 calories considering you burn calories as you walk and even sit.
Have a good day and remember to always eat when you’re hungry, but not to much. Eat small snacks In between meals if you need to such as grapes or a banana
    Xoxo, weirdo

  • ive actually been doing 1,000 or less a day and i have already lost several pounds. it’s super good for losing weight but it’s a hungry journey.

  • If the body held onto body fat aka starvation mode we would all die. Thats what our body fat is, stored food that our body uses in case there is no food around. Its a survival mechanism, feeding off our fat stores is what keeps us alive.

  • She’s right about it not being sustainable for long periods of time but a <1,000 calorie diet is very doable for short periods of time, it's even common for doctors in bariatrics to put patients on very low calorie (VLC) diets and have caloric deficits well over 1k (although that would be more like 1,800 calories for a 400 pound person).

You’re way more likely to crash and binge on a VLC diet but it’s not dangerous if you’ve got plenty of body fat to sustain yourself. Try starting out on a VLC diet and if it isn’t working for you, progress to more common deficits like 500-700 calorie deficits.

  • I read a lot of superb reviews on the internet about how Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost tons of fat. Has any one tested out this popular weight loss secrets?
